Crude Exports: Shell Says It May Not Meet Production Targets

Shell has said that it was in doubt meeting  production targets for crude exports in the  country.
The oil company explained that this was because of having to shut down a major pipeline several times as a result of sabotage and theft.
Shell,  according to AFP  said, “force majeure has been declared on Bonny Light exports … due to production deferment from leaks observed on the Trans Niger Pipeline (TNP)” in  Ogoni area of Rivers State.
